Butterfly Card

Hello Everyone

A girl in work had her birthday recently and her favourite colour is purple, so I decided to make the Butterfly card that I made back in May in purple.  This card seems very popular at the moment and cheers everyone up.

This card was made with the stamps by Chloe Butterfly stamp, die and stencil.

I started off with an 71/4" white square card, I taped the stencil in place on the card using scotch removable tape, then used the blending brush and Versa Amethyst ink I brushed over the stencil.

Then using the butterfly stamp I stamped the image in Versa Amethyst ink and used the die to cut out the stamped image.I then cut out a rectangle of silver card and mounted the Butterfly image to the silver card.

I cut out a large circle in silver and white, I then stamped Happy Birthday on the white circle - this was a stamp that come free with a magazine and then added some purple gems and some silver border peel offs to the edge of the card.

This card can be made in any colour of your choice.

Finished card below - which she loved 😄

Happy Birthday Dad

Well last week was a busy week for Birthdays. First I had my Nieces birthday which was my previous post the Unicorn card and this time is was my Dad and Father in laws birthday.

For my Dad's card,  I took to Pinterest for some inspiration for a different type of Golf Card and come acrossed a Golf Cart which I decided to make, my cricut come out of hibernation and the a Golf Cart was made.  The SVG file came from SVG Cuts.Com.

The Golf Cart card each section was cut out in different coloured card as per the instructions and then each section was glued together, I used my dots embossing board for the golf ball effect and used brown and green ink to make the golf balls look dirty.

My Father-in-law's card was made with his ancestors in mind, his Grandparents were Swedish so the My Favorite Things Viking Die-namics set was was ideal and he loved it.

I cut out a circle to add more effect to the card, and then tore a bit of scrap paper to give me a hill shape and then used the ink dusters with green and grass green versamark ink pads to create the hills, then used Grey for the hills and sky blue & blue for the sky.  I then die cut out some clouds shapes and tree shapes and the word dad.  I coloured the viking using Spectrum noir pencils , the greeting was part of the MFT Viking stamp set.

They both loved their cards and had good birthdays.😄

See you again soon and thanks for stopping by.
