Sweet Sixteen

Hello there crafty friends and followers, I'am back today with a card for my niece who has turned 16. For this card I have used the IndigoBlu stamp that come free with a magazine and versacolor inks, I got the background colours idea from a gift tag I see on Pinterest.

Method:
I started with an A5  piece of Neenah card and made the background by using ink dusters with the ink in a diagonal line and overlapped the colours, I then stamped the Juliet image using onyx black versafine ink, then I re stamped the image, this is where a misti stamping tool comes in handy, with a versamak ink pad and added clear embossing power to the image.  Then cut the card down to 17 x 11cm. Then I mounted the stamped image onto black, yellow and pink card.  Next I inked the 8 x 8 card using the same method and inks I used to make the background. Then I added the finish touches to the card with some die cut butterflies and flowers, some Nuvo drops and the die cut words from black card.
